Sorry for the lack of updates. My new job has been hectic working weekends and late nights but things are returning to normal slowly.
Every Monday I show a travel photo from some of my journeys around the world including local spots in Australia like Darwin, Townsville, Brisbane and Alice Springs to overseas like Japan, London, Budapest, California, Vienna and the Netherlands.
Seeing the Olympics are in London here’s a photo i shot while i lived there for a few years. This is a spot right near the main skatepark on London at Bayswater. Skateboarders built this ramp to wallride years ago and it was a very common spot. When it came down to shooting it, i had to pick angle that was unique. When framing up, i found this angle. I thought it would be awesome to split the frame with the wall and show what was on the other side, The tube. After many attempts from Jamie we nailed the shot. The wall ride, the grab and train. This photo went was published in Be-mag. Sometimes old spots warrant a new set of eyes to still make them interesting.
Set-up. 3 5080Ex flashes. One flash on the wall as fill, 2 on the ground to light Jamie up. Canon 5D, 15mm fisheye
