Travel photo Monday’s – London, England

Every Monday I show a travel photo from some of my journeys around the world including local spots in Australia like Darwin, Townsville, Brisbane and Alice Springs to overseas like Japan, London, Budapest, California, Vienna and the Netherlands.

Being today the Queens Birthday holiday here in Australia i thought i’d post one from England.

This is a unseen sequence i shot in London with skater Julian Coulter back in 2008. Julian is one of those skaters i loved dedicated time with because other than his great personality his talent is amazing. We shot this photo in a Uni, it’s a very popular skate spot but when we shot this, no one had done this trick before. It’s scary as hell cause when your moving on a rail, jumping into a bank is hard as your feet can slip out and you can loose balance as the last second before heading into the air. Julian had it sorted though and landing this huge rail to gap into the bank after a few attempts. No flashes on this, just my canon 5D.

Julian stoked with his trick and Matt Watt checking his footage.
