I bought this lens ages but never really use it as much as i’d like. It’s a pretty cheap lens and good quality for the price. I assist a photographer and he uses 50mm 1.2 which is amazing glass. I plan to get one of these soon but for now learning to use the 50mm 1.8 is still a mission to use it properly. Last week i had the chance to shoot photos for a printing company i used to work for. So i got out the 50mm and shot some of the old machines they still use. SO much character and personality. Here’s 2 shots from that shoot. Great Depth of field in the 1.8. One large octabox for a light source.
