Assisting for other photographers is always one of the best way to learn. I tried years ago to contact photographers to get some assisting work but for some reason it never happened. Anyway learning on the job is amazing, even if you know in your head how to light a certain scene or compose images, other photographers have the same idea but often execute them differently so i find it very interesting. Experience is everything with photography and i’m only really learning the commercial side of things after 15years behind the camera. Your never experienced enough not to learn new things.
