I finally took some photos that Krisztina was pleased with…

My lovely girlfriend and part time assistant does not like being in front of the camera. We have tried a few times to get some photos she could be proud of but have failed. She is always right by my side on every shoot she can attend and always looks over the final images from each shoot so we came up with this shoot and had this location at Sandgate in mind. A very early morning run out there we had some gloomy skies to deal with which was perfect for the mood of the photo. What wasn’t perfect was the wind. The path we were shooting on is very thin and wind prone. I was using a large soft, AB 800, C-Stand and the Vagabond Battery pack to weight it down. With the shots where Krisztina is on the left of the frame, i was holding the softbox with my left hand and shooting with my right so the wind wouldn’t take my gear into the water. It was awesome for her hair and the scarf but extremely frustrating for me and my gear. I am also really happy with these images as i haven’t really taken many photos like these. I hope you enjoy them. Comments Welcome.

These are great photos Dale, I bet your girlfriends loves them. I see what you mean about the wind, it has worked wonders. I really love image 1 (Krisztina 5) and 3 (Krisztina 6) they are stunning. They go well with the sky and the whole dramatic theme.

Just wondering what happened to all the bird poo on that pier, did you have to remove it in post or has all the recent rain washed it away?

Top shots, loving you work, keep em coming.

“OMG” You guys are going to go far!! Dale your photography is impeccable. Krisztina looks absolutely captivating and mysifying in all of the shots. I especially love image 2 which Krisztina could easily be mistaken for a top fashion model promoting the likes of Gucci or Dolce & Gabbana. The shots of Krisztina are seriously breathtakingly beautiful. You have done an exceptional job considering the weather conditions. Well done, first class. You should both be very proud of yourselves. x x
